WATERCryst is a German/Austrian technology company that has been in business since 2008. We develop and manufacture BIOCAT lime protection systems for both private and commercial use throughout Europe. The systems are based on our patented catalyst technology and both development and production take place at our facilities in Austria and Germany.

Economy and ecology go hand in hand

The idea behind WATERCryst is to develop cost-effective, chemical-free solutions that make it possible to replace existing lime protection systems with BIOCAT systems that do not pollute drinking water. The philosophy is that any BIOCAT system must be both green and economically viable. We want to show that economy and ecology can go hand in hand.

Quality from start to finish

Our production and products must comply with all applicable rules and regulations to the letter. All BIOCAT systems are therefore compliant and thoroughly tested, including through DVGW and ÖVGW certifications.

We have also implemented ISO-9001-certified quality management in research, development, and production, and we source most of our components from recognized European suppliers. These are skilled and quality-conscious suppliers that we have worked with for many years.

WATERCryst is headquartered in Cologne, Germany, with state-of-the-art production and development facilities in Kematen, Austria. In Denmark, the company is represented in Herning by Watercryst Vandteknik ApS.
